What steps should I take if I’ve been involved in an accident?
In the event of an accident, prioritize safety by ensuring everyone involved is out of harm's way. If necessary, contact emergency services. Exchange essential details with the other party, including names, contact information (address and phone number), drivers licence and insurance particulars. Capture photographs of the vehicle damage and any other relevant images.
After completing these initial steps, reach out to your insurance provider to initiate your claim and designate Harvey Accident Repairs as your chosen repairer. We'll assist you throughout the process and collaborate with your insurance company to expedite your vehicle back to it’s pre-accident condition.

Do I have to contact my insurance provider or can you?
You will need to contact your insurer to lodge the initial claim. They will ask you a series of questions relating to the incident e.g. vehicle details, other party details, details of the accident, location and time then they will issue you with a claim number. Once you have allocated Harvey Accident Repairs as your chosen repairer we can take over from there. If you are unsure about any of this, please don’t hesitate to contact our office and we can assist you.
-

Most insurance providers grant you the freedom to select your preferred repairer. Nevertheless, we advise you to periodically review your policy to confirm this remains unchanged.
